Meet our doctors
Camda Temmen, O.D., is a native of Central Illinois. She was raised in Pana and graduated from Pana High School in 1985.
She attended Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1989.
Dr. Temmen graduated from the Indiana University School of Optometry, Bloomington, Indiana, in 1993. She did a clinical internship at the Omni Eye Services Clinic in Atlanta, Georgia, with an emphasis on ocular disease. She also completed a clinical internship at the Indiana University Eye Health Clinic in Indianapolis. Dr. Temmen participated in research for pediatric contact lenses and corneal refractive therapy.
Since 1993, Dr. Temmen has practiced in Pana, Springfield and the Decatur/Mt. Zion area. Temmen Advanced Eye Care was established in 2003.
Dr. Temmen is certified in DPA (diagnostic pharmaceutical agents), TPA (therapeutic pharmaceutical agents) and the use of oral therapeutics.
Tim Busey, O.D., did his undergraduate studies at Millikin University.
He attended Illinois College of Optometry, where he received his Doctorate of Optometry (OD). While there he did an externship at Ft. Sheridan Army Base.
He has been practicing optometry since 1988 and specializes in diseases of the eye and comprehensive optical care. Dr. Busey fits patients with glasses and even the most difficult contact lenses (including bifocal, monovision, gas permeable, extended wear, RGP and hard contact lenses). He has a special interest in CRT (corneal refractive therapy) and VST (vision shaping treatment) and is certified in both. Dr. Busey is optometrist certified in DPA (diagnostic pharmaceutical agents), TPA (therapeutic pharmaceutical agents) and the use of oral therapeutics.
Dr. Busey lives in Decatur with his family. Away from the office, he enjoys running and has completed various marathons. He also enjoys going on mission trips with his church.
Jodie Wadsworth, O.D., relocated from Fresno, CA where she practiced optometry at the California Eye Institute for two years. Dr. Wadsworth is a native Midwesterner, as she grew up in north central Iowa on a corn and soybean farm. She did her undergraduate studies at the University of Northern Iowa graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 2009. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Society. She did her externship rotations in Huntington, WV with an emphasis in disease, Quantico, VA naval clinic with an emphasis in primary care, and Guanajuato, Mexico where she provided eye exams in Spanish. She has also traveled to Honduras through the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists giving eye care to those in need.
Dr. Wadsworth is dedicated in giving exceptional comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages. She has enjoyed working with pediatrics and fitting contact lenses of all kinds. She is also certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT).
Dr. Wadsworth resides in Forsyth with her husband and enjoys running, sports and spending time with her family and friends.
